TATTOO SERVICES POLICY

1. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR STATUS

ALL TATTOO ARTISTS AND STUDIOS PARTICIPATING IN THE INK & ANIME EXPO ARE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS AND ARE NOT EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS OF THE ink & ANIME EXPO LLC.

2. ASSUMTION OF RISK

TATTOOING IS AN INVASIVE PROCEDURE. BY RECIEVING A TATTOO, THE CLIENT ASSUMES ALL Risk OF INFECTION, ALLERGIC REACTION, OR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE ARTISTIC RESULT.

3. MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY 

THE INK & ANIME EXPO LLC acts solely as a venue host. any claims regarding the safety, sterilization, or quality of a tattoo must be handled directly with the specific artist or studio.

4. Licensing and standard of care

the ink & anime expo is a state licensed temporary event under the Texas department of state health services (dshs). while the expo provides the licensed venue and basic sanitation infrastructure, all participating artists are strictly required to maintain their own profession standards, utilize single-use tools where applicable, and comply with all state and local health regulations. the expo reserves the right to immediately shut down and remove any artist found in violation of these health or safety standards.
