Cosplay & prop policy
1. Policy Adherence

All cosplayers must adhere to the code of conduct & anti-harassment policy at all times.

Costumes must be worn in a respectful manner and must be fully covered in areas deemed inappropriate for a public event.
2. Prop safety
(zero tolerance)

Prohibited items: Live firearms, real ammunition, functioning bows/crossbows, pyrotechnics, explosives, chemical sprays, and any item deemed illegal under local, state, or federal law are strictly prohibited.

Bladed Props: All bladed props (swords, knives, axes, etc.) must be non-metallic, made of foam, plastic, or wood, and must have dulled edges (no sharp points).

Inspection: All props must be inspected and peace-bonded by Expo security upon arrival. Security reserves the right to confiscate any prop deemed unsafe. Confiscated items will be returned upon departure.
3. Crowd control & movement
-
Large props (over six feet tall or wide) must not impede traffic flow. Cosplayers wearing large, restrictive costumes must be accompanied by a handler. staff reserve the right to restrict or remove costumes that are causing a safety hazard.
